Mini Split Heat Pumps Applications

Where can I use a Mini Split Heat Pump?

*WHERE IS NO PREVIOUS DUCTWORK OR THERE IS NO ACCESS

Many installations can’t support adding Ductwork because there is no attic or crawl space under the house to put them. This is usually a problem with apartments and quite often, older homes. Other problems are that if there is no previous ductwork, even if the space is there the costs are considerably more if you do a ductwork installation plus the cost of conventional systems to get the efficiency you want and deserve make Mini Splits the Answer.

*NEW CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATIONS

The same reasons of cost and simplicity; whether you are constructing or renovating your house, adding ductwork can be really expensive. That’s why Mini Splits are becoming the preferred method for adding air conditioning and heating in one room or throughout your house. Also, if you are renovating your house and you already have the ductwork, it only covers specific parts of your house, adding a new room could mean adding more ductwork. Plus the savings of a High Efficiency Mini Split can't be matched by conventional systems when it comes time to Pay Up. Installing a new Mini Split also provides a first step in adding on HVAC equipment for maximum energy efficiency, since you can condition the new space/s only when you need added cooling or heating.

*SYSTEM REPLACEMENTS OR ADDRESSING ISSUES

The use of Mini Splits is very common as replacement for traditional whole home ducted systems. When it is time to replace it you can factor energy savings, lower operating costs and the 2 in 1 advantage of cooling and heating together in one outdoor unit controlling 1-9 heads and being able to control the heat or air in each room independently without a costly zoning system.... also when the house has a poor quality system due to inadequate ductwork where the air does not really distribute efficiently in the house. A Mini Split can easily address the problem. Or a Garage... or room over a Garage. Sun Room. A room that just isn't a comfy as you would like it. There are too many options to list where Minis can be the Answer.

*ALL I NEED IS A REPLACEMENT UNIT FOR MY EXISTING DUCT SYSTEM

If this is so, you might want to look in to a Mini Inverter Split System. All of our systems are inverter driven but this UNIVERSAL system is built to replace

existing units tying into your existing duct. It WILL NOT be a 'drag' on your electric bill... there is no 'back up' electric heat which quite often is inefficient but this Universal System will provide heat down to -22! It also rocks an AHRI Rating of 20 Seer!!
